The sprawl of drawings

A day in the office, missing the wonderful weather and fresh powder snow, yes I’ve had enough looking at the computer screen, enough! but deadlines persist.

Lunchtime earlier today presented itself with a blue sky and plenty of clouds to take away.  Nonetheless it was the shadows from the lowly lit sun hovering just above the hill that was on the menu. A quick stroll in the deep fluffy snow where a bare tree had cast it’s  dark shadow onto the textured white beneath it. My choice of camera today, the Infrared 30D.

You see as interesting as the branches  were physically, the pattern displayed on the blank canvas was the specialty of the hour. Combining the trunk and the sprawl of drawings in the composition, says everything that needs to be told.
