Easter brings new beginnings as spring proceeds. I travel through Salzburg with my bike to and from places. Meeting friends, drama rehearsals or just for groceries. Along my way, I bring the small camera to gather the interesting displays and moments. These are a selection from March to May around Easter.
The catholic christians celebrate earlier than the greek orthodox christians I discovered. A greek friend of mine invited me along late in the evening in Salzburg. It is interesting to learn that a small community exists here in a small part of Austria. While pussy willow is a popular decoration for homes at this time. The first of the markets arrive with crafts and arts for sales with music on offer a midst a sun filled afternoon with a friend or two.
