For the last while, I’ve being working with the infrared converted 30D. This image of bark and snow took a few attempts to get it what I imagined. One thing with infrared is the focus, it’s a little to the right or the left of the auto-focus. So auto-focusing then switching to manual with a tiny movement equivalent to the IR marking on the lens got the image much sharper. I took two shots one with the auto-focus and another with the manual method. Definitely a better output.
