A longer than I thought trip to one of Austria’s national parks to seek the Wasserlochklamm, one of the many narrow gorges. However on the way I came to another gorge, the Nothklamm instead. A couple of captures can be found here in both [ color and B&W ]. But that’s not the story here, at the end of the canyon, I came across something special, the roots of a tree cleaned and washed by the river. These lifelines of the underside of the tree were just wonderful with their patterns alone, but the smooth stones within were an additional charm. This is one of the abstract I took, to see the rest in [ color ] or [ mono ] (please note I didn’t arrange the stones it’s just as I found it).
