It’s definitely time to escape, run away into the great outdoors! Well at least up a hill into a hole. The hole in question which I often pass way down below on the main road had always captured my imagination. Finally I got the excuse to explore the Puxerloch. I had a new camera the Yashica Mat 124. Taking it along with some Ilford Delta 100 film which later I’d develop in Rodinal developer.
The Puxerloch is 100 meters above ground on the south face of the Pleschaitz mountain. There are actually two holes. The larger one Luegg which I visited is accessible while the other Schallaun isn’t so easy. Of course many many years ago the two where connected. Whether it was a wall-mounted plank bridge or a suspension bridge no one really knows. Both had a castle or fortress of sort inside them.
This was the first real outing with the Yashica. I only used the build in light meter which I believe tends to overexpose. At least on my camera. However on my second outing I allowed for this however I haven’t got the film developed just yet.
The next Yashica trip I use colour film which I’ll also self develop once the thermometers arrive. I’ve quite some film develop. 3 Rolls of Lomograph slide film which came with the Yashica and another two rolls of Kodak Ektor which also was included with the Yashica.
