Man on the phone – Boland’s Mills, Dublin, Ireland

Boland’s Mill, a flour mill and biscuit plant. It’s a protected building due to its importance in the role it played in the Easter Rising 1916. The Rising lead to Ireland’s independent in 1922. The mills are situated in Dublin’s Docklands where land goes for a costly sum. However in the economic downturn I reckon they stay as is. It might make a great modern art gallery like the Tate in London someday.

Beautiful play on the lights and shadows… and the contrast between the both as well as the symmetry work in perfect harmony.
