Nothing in life is perfect otherwise I guess life would be boring. Also there would be nothing to discover or explore. The imperfections in things or more importantly in nature are what makes nature so random and yet so ordered.
Even the glass that’s in front of our camera needs to be coated to reduce lens flare. However I say nought to it and let lens flare be a thing. Actually in fact JJ. Abrams is quite fond of the effect to the point of overindulging himself in the latest Star Trek movie but that’s another story I guess….
Here I present a couple of images made with the Fujifilm X-E3 with an old Yashica 50mm ƒ1.9 lens. It’s not a expensive lens at all but perfect for the job of lens flare.
