3 Awesome places to photograph on the West of Ireland

From my recent trip to Ireland, these are three classic places to visit on the west coast. Great to photograph even if you are travelling together with love ones.  As I’m always asked where to go in Ireland. It is a hard question to give a proper answer as there are some many place to discover.  Some folks  wish for an easy laid back trip while others wish for an adventure. So below I’ve prepared three easy places to reach by car which require little effort in terms of hiking or even climb! All location can be reached by car.

The coral beach (Trá an Dóilín, An Cheathrú Rua, Galway)

Located in county Galway is a strange and natural  occurance .   Contrary to  believe the beach is actually made of coralline algae.  It kind of  gravel beach which quite rare. So definitely worth a visit!

The Burren, county Clare

Of course a trip to the remarkable limestone region in within Clare can’t go without a miss. The national park of the Burren is truly a oddity that should be left out on any journey to the west of Ireland.

Lake Furnace, Galway

Finally a peace and tranquil place to stop and setup a tripod is the Furnace lake.
